WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT TO THE RANGE

THE RANGE

+ Fill out the Range Use Waiver, review the Range Rules and watch our Range Etiquette & Safety video. **We recommend you look for the yellow tab at the bottom of our webpages and get this completed BEFORE YOU COME IN to save time!**

+ Bring your completed paperwork and government-issued photo ID to the range counter to check-in. We are going to ask you some questions about the video, so PAY ATTENTION 🙂

+ During check-in, the associate at the counter will assist you with anything you may need: rental guns, ammunition, eye protection (“Eyes”), hearing protection (“Ears”), and targets.  If you have any questions about the range rules, simply ask – we are here to help!

+ Go find your lane and don’t forget to put on your “Eyes” and “Ears” before entering the sound lock. If you forget what you were assigned, it is also identified on your stapler.

+ If you have any questions while on range, please do not hesitate to ask a Range Safety Officer in the yellow safety vest. However, the RSO is not there to provide shooting lessons. The RSO’s value is far more important than that. So please be brief. If you think that you need a private lesson before visiting, we would be happy to do that. Learn more here.

+ Once you are finished shooting, exit the range and return to the rental counter to check out.

YOUR FIREARMS

ALL FIREARMS MUST BE MUST BE CASED AND UNLOADED WHEN ENTERING THE RANGE

To clarify, if you are going to shoot your concealed carry gun and it is holstered, this gun must be unloaded and cased. If you do not plan to shoot your concealed firearm, you may leave it concealed.

If you do not have a case, we can provide a loaner at our front desk. Carry firearms must be unloaded in the clearing station prior to entering the range if you plan to shoot the firearm on range. Clearing stations are available in the lobby and between Range 1 and Range 2.
